What does a STEM session look like?

Start with a curious look: “Aunt, why is the lamp light when the electricity is not plugged in? ”

Next comes the laugh: “Oh my, I forgot to put them together! ”

Ending with profound philosophical sentences: “I think I’m going to be an astronaut, electric car engineer, even inventor of flying pizza…

Why should parents “drop” their children into the STEM world?

Because learning science helps children to ask questions, instead of just listening.

Because I will learn to try – fail – and try again, instead of giving up.

And because… you’ll have evenings listening to my presentation on how to make electrical test bits using battery base and metal pieces, even the solar system by… a cardboard box it is!
